Experience the Joy of Working with Copper!
Copper is a relatively soft and easy to shape metal. It's natural reddish-brown color and the way it patinas over time can add a unique and beautiful aesthetic to any project. Experiment with copper by making either a coffee scoop or ladle, depending on your ticket type, under the guidance of instructor Bruce Helmreich.
Class covers:
Forming the copper disc into a bowl shape.
Texturing and polishing the surface of the ladle/scoop.
Attachment of copper bowl to handle using rivets.
Each participant will receive a kit with a copper round, rivets and a hand-forged steel handle.
